Is it better to travel than to arrive? Robert Louis Stephenson thought so! Your journey to Driftwood starts with a pitstop in Kerikeri to provision for your visit - trust us, you won't want to pop into town once you arrive.
Next, journey through some of New Zealand's most breathtaking coastal farmland. The last 15 minutes is unsealed but you do not need a 4WD to get here. Take it slow and enjoy the view. Your adventure starts here.
We love being out on the water and have safe moorings and a ramp at Driftwood. We encourage you to bring your boat and explore. Russell is just 10 minutes blat across the bay for dinner at the famous Duke of Marlborough hotel or be at the Black Rocks in minutes.
