A very special part of Driftwood . . .
Crayfish Cottage is available to enjoy alfresco dining when you are staying at the bach, the pizza oven is a huge hit with guests on a summers evening.
The beach huts were built so that our family could cook up our seafood on the beach after a days diving in the Bay of Islands or sleep over if we were off early for another dive.
Over the years we planted herbs and lemons to accompany the freshly caught seafood. The essence of simplicity with a little bit of style thrown in! |
All crockery and cutlery is provided, and both indoor and outdoor dining available for cooler evenings. It is a special addition to your visit at the bach, where you can watch the tides change, take a dingy for a row or just relax.
The beach huts are a wonderful compliment to the bach offering overflow accommodation and al fresco dining. As a venue Crayfish Cottage can be a romantic dining room for two on the waters edge. The beach huts are also available for extra guests if your party exceeds two, there is a beautifully fitted out bunk house made up in the best Wallace Cotton sheets.
If you are thinking of a wedding or special anniversary this is one of the locations at Driftwood we offer for a true Kiwiana experience. Click here for more information.
